Liya Mu, born in Xi'an, P.R.China, is a Chinese painting artist, the vice president of West China Calligraphy and Paintings Research Institution, member of Chinese Artists' Association and standing committee of Shaanxi VIP Artist of Shaanxi College of Calligraphy and Paintings. Liya fell in love in Chinese Painting from her childhood. Through many years of practice and hard work, she has developed a lot of landscape paintings, which are characterized by profound significance, bold and vigorous strokes, flowing and natural style.
In May 2001 she successfully held an individual exhibition of landscape paintings, In July 2002, Liya was invited to Korea for Chinese painting exhibition and seminar about Chinese culture and art. Many of her works have been displayed and awarded prizes on the national, provincial and municipal exhibition of calligraphy and paintings.
